2. INTRODUCTION

This manual has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
The purpose of this document is to outline the procedures and framework under which SecAuto (Pty) Ltd manages access to information and protects personal data in compliance with South African law.

3. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION

SecAuto (Pty) Ltd conducts its business in accordance with South African legislation, including but not limited to:
– The Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008
– The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, No. 25 of 2002
– The Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008

This manual assists persons who wish to access information held by SecAuto (Pty) Ltd in terms of PAIA. It also explains how the company collects, processes, and protects personal information in compliance with POPIA.
